With the special exhibition „Free Again!“, the town of Tittmoning recalls the time when the castle was used as a prisoner-of-war and internment camp during World War II. Guided tours through the castle grounds, the exhibition rooms and selected interiors tell of the prisoners life in the camp and their biographies. Through documents, exhibits and preserved traces, the tours bring this part of our history to life.
